Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We've had very nice visits with family this past week. We are sad now that everyone's gone. But I think we're ready to get back to normal, too. Evi starts school next Monday, and I start up again the Monday after that. (Not quite sure if I'll be ready for that!) We had such a nice time with Mom and Dad, Zach and his family (especially meeting baby Nina for the first time!), and the Bobrowskis. The kids have enjoyed their gifts. And I've started working on aprons that I'm going to attempt to sew. (It's been a long time since I've done any sewing, so we'll see how this project goes.) Nelu has finished up a couple of projects. I'll have to post some pictures of that soon.

Am avut un timp bun cu familia mea saptamana asta. Ne pare rau ca a trebuit sa plece deja. Dar cred ca suntem gata sa ne intoarcem la ce este normal pt. noi. Evi incepe scoala luni, si eu incep lunea cealalta. (Nu stiu daca o sa fiu gata sa incep din nou!) Copiii s-au bucurat de cadourile lor de Craciun. S-au bucurat s-o cunoasca pt. prima oara verisoara lor Nina. Eu am inceput sa cos un sort (?) pt. bucatarie. (N-am mai cosut de mult, si sper ca iese bine!) Nelu a terminat doua proiecte de mobila--unul pt. biserica, si celalalt pt. restaurant. Trebuie sa pun poze cu ele in curand.

More Snow!

The kids were so happy to see snow outside when they got up this morning.

Copiii s-au bucurat sa vada zapada afara cand s-au trezit azi dimineata.

Winter Scenes from Our House

We're getting ready for Christmas around here! We even loved the snow to get us in the spirit! Our tree is up, and we've had to decorate it a second time because little hands would not leave it alone.

Ne pregatim pt. Craciun acum. A si nins la noi, si ne-a facut sa ne simtim bine....Am pus bradul, dar a trebuit sa-l impodobim de doua ori deja, ca cineva la noi nu l-a lasat in pace.

Thanksgiving

We had a nice day for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a good meal with Dad, and then we just visited. Nothing real big, but just nice.

Am avut o zi frumoasa de Thanksgiving. A venit tatal meu. Am mancat bine, si dupa-aia am stat de vorba. Nimic nu prea mare, dar frumos.

Finally Some Halloween Pictures...And Nelu's Birthday

Halloween

Here are a few fall pictures. I take the kids down to the park at the end of the street to take pictures every year when the leaves are pretty. Here are a couple. Also, the kids went trick-or-treating Saturday night--just down our street and back. They enjoyed it, and the candy is almost gone already!

Jos sunt cateva poze cu copiii. Am facut poze in parc si la trick-or-treat. Au avut un timp bun, si au luat multe bomboane (care aproape s-au terminat deja!).
