Little Snow Bear

We are about frozen here! I don't know what happened to the weather this year, but I'm hoping for a break from the cold sometime soon.

We have been busy preparing for Christmas. Doing a little more and a little less of different things than we have done in the past. Overall, though, we're trying not to get too crazy busy. Trying to focus on what Christmas is really about.

Our New Home

Well, more like our house is getting a face lift. This is Nelu's new project--turning our duplex into a single-family home. He has been busy at work these past couple weeks and has gotten a lot accomplished. I can't wait to see the finished product! These pictures are from yesterday, and there are already places that look different from this. I'll keep you posted...

Baby is seven weeks old today. She has brought so much joy into our family. The weeks are flying and sometimes I can't believe she's been with us that long. But sometimes I feel like she's always been with us.

Nadia face sapte saptamani azi. Aduce foarte multa bucurie in familia noastra. Timpul trece repede, si nu-mi vine sa cred ca are deja sapte saptamani. Dar uneori ma simt ca asta mica a fost mereu cu noi.

Birthday Fun

These pictures are backwards from how I wanted to post them, but they'll do. Here are just a few glimpses of the two birthdays we celebrated in the past three weeks. Evi and Samuel had a lot of fun this year. And I think they were even OK with the fact that we had their birthday party together this time around. And little Daniel enjoyed himself right along with them! So, birthdays are over for the year, and now we're just waiting for the birth of our new little one!

Deci, s-au terminat zilele copiilor pt. anul asta, si acum asteptam ziua de nastere la cel mai mic copil al nostru!

An Accomplishment

So I finally did it. I took the exam for dietetic registration this morning. And I passed! It was a long grueling three years and last few months of study. And passing this exam was my goal for all of the study. I am so relieved!! And even moreso that I finished the exam before Baby arrives. In just a short time now I will actually be a registered dietitian. No job prospects for the time being, but that will come in due time...

**On a side note, I am getting really frustrated with this blog. I can no longer do what I want to with placement of pictures and text, and I get mad every time I try to get on here. I may just stop this blogger thing and look for another site for blogging or just stop all together. I really need to decide soon...

In sfarsit am facut ceea pt. ce am muncit asa de mult ultimii trei ani. Am trecut examenul meu de licenta azi dimineata ca sa fiu "dietitian." Scopul meu a fost sa trec examenul, si am muncit foarte mult pt. asta. Ma bucur, mai ales ca am terminat asta inainte sa vina bebelusul. Nu stiu ce slujba o sa iau in viitor, dar astept cu rabdare sa vad...

To Close or Not?

Thinking about not doing this blog anymore. It has become a major hassle to post pictures, even though I thought I got that straightened out the other day. What would I do with this space if I didn't post pictures? It just wouldn't be the same, because it's for family (mostly) who might like to keep up with the kids. If I don't get the picture thing figured out, then I believe that's what I'll decide to do....I'll let you know once I've made the decision.


Ma gandesc sa nu mai scriu la blog--sa-l inchid. Este o problema mare sa nu pot sa pun poze--am crezut ca am rezolvat problema acum cateva zile, dar tot nu merge. Ce as face cu blogul daca n-as putea sa pun poze deloc? N-ar mai fi la fel, pt. ca fac asta pt. familia noastra (cel mai mult) care vrea sa vada ce fac copiii. Daca nu reusesc sa rezolv problema cu pozele, atunci cred ca o sa-l inchid....dar o sa va spun decizia mea cand o iau.

It's Over!

Finally, school for me has come to an end. I attended graduation this weekend, and I really finally feel like it's over. I'm not done studying, though. I am buckling down and really focusing on getting this registration exam (for dietitians) out of the way. So, that's the goal--to take (and pass) the exam before the baby comes in August.

In sfarsit, s-a terminat scoala pt. mine. Am fost la "graduation" in weekend, si ma simt cu adevarat ca s-a terminat in sfarsit. Dar mai am de invatat. Trebuie sa ma concentrez acum la pregatire pt. examenul meu mare de licenta. Scopul meu este sa-l dau (si sa-l trec!) inainte de a veni bebelusul in August.

Out of Luck

Well, we can't post pictures to the computer for now, I guess. We got a virus on our computer last week that messed up a lot of things. Most are now fixed, but I guess this part is not. I'm not really sure what this means for our picture-taking capacity now. I have some cute pictures of the kids working in the garden, Evi climbing a tree, and the kids playing at the park. I'll let you know when I get something figured out...


Nu mai pot sa pun poze la calculator...deocamdata. Am luat un virus la calculator saptamana trecuta care a stricat multe lucruri. Aproape toate problemele sunt rezolvate acum, dar vad ca problema asta mai este inca. Nu stiu ce inseamna pt. noi si cum o sa mai facem poze si sa le pastram. Am cateva poze frumoase cu copiii muncind in gradina, cu Evi urcand un copac, si cu copiii jucandu-se in parc. O sa va anunt cand se rezolva si problema asta...

This is where he's seen these days more often than not. He will spend hours in that "dirt"-box (it's not been filled with sand yet this year), just talking to himself and enjoying the mess.

Aici il gasesti pe Daniel cel mai mult in ultima vreme. Petrece ore intregi jucandu-se in pamant (n-am umplut cutia aia cu nisip inca in anul asta)--vorbeste singur, si se bucura de mizerie...

Happy Easter, Everyone!

We have had a full weekend. I finished my internship Friday (just have to present my project now). We had visitors Friday and Saturday. We went to church this morning, had a nice lunch with Dad, and then headed out to watch Nelu's soccer game in some beautiful weather....Oh, also this week (as some of you already know) we found out that our newest little one is (most likely) a girl. We are so excited!

Am avut un weekend plin. Am terminat practica mea vineri (trebuie doar sa prezint proiectul meu acum). Am avut musafiri vineri si sambata (fratele meu cu familia lui). Am mers la biserica azi dimineata, am mancat o masa buna cu tatal meu la pranz, si apoi am mers sa ne uitam la meciul lui Nelu de fotbal....Si altceva....Am aflat saptamana asta (aproape sigur) ca bebelusul care vine este fata. Ne bucuram foarte tare!

Homework Break

I'm taking a break from homework tonight to put up some pictures. Can't do homework on my birthday, can I? I just had to show off my little ones--they're sometimes just too sweet.

Another Year Older

This is what we did tonight. After a beautiful sunny day, we went out for Mexican with Dad. Then we came back for ice cream cake. Nothing real big--just nice. This was the best day for us to celebrate this time around.

Asta am facut in seara asta. Dupa o zi frumoasa cu mult soare, noi am iesit afara sa mancam mancare mexicana cu tatal meu. Apoi ne-am intors acasa sa mancam tort de inghetata. Nimic nu prea mare--dar a fost frumos pt. mine. A fost cea mai buna zi in care sa sarbatorim ziua mea de data asta.

We are way overdue...

...for posting pictures. I just have not been in the mood. Too much going on lately, I guess. Even our free time is not free. Here are just a few pictures of the kids--I haven't even been good at taking new ones in the past few weeks.
