Around the House

Just gotta brag on Nelu a little bit. He's doing a good job on the kitchen. Every time I walk over there, I get so excited about it. The tile is down, most everything is painted, the counter and appliances are in place, the new light fixture's up, and now even some of the backsplash is on. I'm not sure when it'll all be done, but I'm in no rush, especially since Nelu is very busy with other projects these days as well. I'm just enjoying the process of transformation. And while it's not everyone's dream kitchen, it sure is mine!

And...just some images from around our house these days. We cut way back on TV watching these past two weeks, so there has been more spontaneous, creative playtime (which I love to see) as well as more fighting (which drives me crazy). But I think we'll stick to this routine as long as possible...

While her sleep habits are going downhill these days, her mobility is increasing rapidly! She's doing OK in some categories at least.

Coming Along

Our kitchen is moving forward! I should just post before and after pictures, but I'm so excited about this that it's hard not to share. White cabinets will definitely brighten up the kitchen nicely. They're not painted yet--just primed, but we get an idea of what they'll look like for real.
