Our 4th

Well, we spent the day in the last place we expected--the ER.  Not the entire day, but much of it--after Daniel got two bad head bumps in a row.  I don't understand how he so often hits his forehead when he trips and falls on his knees.  Anyway, it all happened up at the 10K race that Nelu ran in the morning.  Having tripped and hit his forehead hard twice in a row made for a concussion.  So we stayed quite a while in the ER while Daniel was observed.  I am so thankful that there was not a more serious injury.  And I'm happy to say that he's mostly back to his normal self.

Am petrecut Ziua Independentei (la noi) la spital cu Daniel ieri.  N-am stat toata ziua, dar am stat mult.  Daniel a cazut rau de doua ori si s-a lovit la cap in doua locuri diferite.  (Nu inteleg cum a facut asta de doua ori in doar o ora jumate.)  Oricum, noi eram intr-un alt oras la un concurs in care alerga Nelu, si acolo s-a intamplat.  Am stat mult la spital pt. ca s-a lovit tare, si a trebuit ca doctorii sa faca observatii.  Ma bucur ca nu s-a intamplat ceva mai rau.  Si ma bucur ca el se simte mult mai bine (si aproape normal) acum.
